They don't even tour below Virginia, save for the occasional trip to the far-away land of Atlanta.

Granted, indie radio stations don't exactly exist down here either so I wouldn't really know if they're mainstream. Come to think of it, I don't think culture exists down here.

Oh, what it is to be from Florida.M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12572824140676449605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1646136237589223909.post-76906118926482066032008-04-14T11:51:00.000-04:002008-04-14T11:51:00.000-04:00Oh man, maybe not down there in the Deep South. Ho...Oh man, maybe not down there in the Deep South. Hot Hot Heat's from Vancouver, and it's all we can do up here to keep the local "indie" stations from playing them every fifteen minutes. The actual college and public-access stations have long since moved on, but they've got pop appeal and indie cred, so they get a lot of airplay from commecerial stations trying to sound like they're with it.

Doesn't mean they're a bad band.Danhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10622183603711960255noreply@blogger.com
